Simple Quilting with Style: Alternatives to Free Motion Quilting
Online registration for the 2018 KPQG Quilt show will close on Monday, October 1. You may register on site at the Quilt Show for any classes, provided there are any remaining spots available. If you have any questions, please contact Diane at 765.210.4180.
With lively projected demonstrations, you will learn to prepare a quilt top for a successful finish. In this half day demonstration class, you will:
- discover secrets of ditch quilting,
- study stitching with heavy threads,
- get excited about big stitch hand quilting,
- bobbin quilting, and
- couched quilting techniques.
These skills empower those whose free-motion skills are less than stellar, but may be combined with free-motion quilting as well. Quilt your quilts with style using techniques you enjoy the most!
In order to attend this class demonstration, you will also need to purchase an Admission Ticket to enter the KPQG Quilt Show.

Cleveland is the winner of numerous quilting and teaching awards, including 1st place at the American Quilting Society's 2017 Paducah Quilt Show, and a frequent nominee for quilting teacher/instructor of the year. Susan is enthusiastic about quilting, and her enthusiasm is evident in her upbeat instructional style. Susan provides well-written instructions in all of her classes, and is very attentive to each student with personalized coaching. |
